About
I strive to provide therapy with the qualities I would want as a client: the ability to provide space to feel comfortable and supported, cultivate mutual respect, suspend judgement while walking side by side through dark moments, and share honest and compassionate feedback. I aim to listen and point out areas of your story that are important to be attentive to. In fact, as your therapist it is my responsibility to act as a detective for your feelings, thoughts, ideas, and emotions. These qualities have shaped my areas of specialization, including EMDR for trauma as well as general therapy for anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.
My goal is a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment with a consistent eye on the therapist-client relationship. I'm not a one-size-fits-all therapist; as I truly believe in the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance to support growth. In the therapy space, you are the driver and I am your passenger - no one knows you better than you.
Together, we will work to heal and improve your day-to-day life and self-awareness. I prefer open and honest communication built on time and trust. I encourage a comfortable space for disclosure and feedback. My approach is best for those looking for compassion and support with honest and up-front feedback. I look forward to joining you in your journey.
