I works with clients aged 16-60 and my primary clinical interests are working with clients who are involved in the criminal justice system, deviant or violent behaviors, anger management, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In addition to this, I also love working with generalized anxiety disorders, body image, couples, and almost everything in between. I know that what makes therapy most effective is the relationship between therapist and client, so I love blending humor, support, and partnership with everyone who comes into my office. Plus, I’m an anti-diet, HAES-informed clinician. I’m sex positive and kink-allied, too!
I take a humanist approach that is focused on the client and what the client wants to achieve. No one else can pick our goals for us. We are all the experts of our own experiences. I primarily draw from dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy and am always learning more theoretical approaches.
Don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to schedule an initial appointment so we can get to know each other better, or so I can help you find whatever resources you need.
