To describe the type of therapy I do, I like to use a flower metaphor: trauma is the root and symptoms are the plant we see aboveground. I aim to support people in reducing the suffering caused by the symptoms they experience everyday while also working, in collaboration and at a safe pace, towards healing the root trauma the causes the plant (symptoms) to grow back again and again.
