The healing journey is unique for everyone. I provide therapy to adolescents and adults who wish to overcome past issues/traumas to focus on the present moment and are seeking to create a better version of themselves. I specialize in short term therapy for those who are struggling with recent stressors/traumatic event(s), such as an unexpected pregnancy, transition into a new role (partner/parent/promotion), loss of a loved one, serious car accident, loss of job, recent move, change in family dynamic, etc. My priority for individuals is to promote healing in a safe place where their story can be told.
My background is in art therapy and counseling, providing expression and experiences to flow in a non-verbal format. This is not for everyone and only used if appropriate for treatment. I work from a person-centered approach; helping each person to recognize their strengths to conquer their problems. The interventions used are ones that work best for you.
Experiences are solidified through thoughts and feelings, creating powerful memories and sometimes a hold on us. When we tell our stories, words and images are not always enough to represent beliefs and emotions. We need a safe place to share our story. Therapy helps bridge the gap between what we hold inside and how we can live life to our fullest.

Explore your S.E.L.F: High School Students
This 6 week group centers on the needs of high school aged students that are seeking support to navigate the complexities of today's world. Based on the SELF curriculum, members will explore topics of boundaries, self-identity, social media, loss, self-care and the future. This group is based in expressive therapy techniques and will utilize a range of techniques beyond talk therapy. Members will be able to connect and share in a safe and supportive environment. Group cycle runs about every 3 months.
