Hi, I'm Abbie. I'm a Louisville native and a graduate of both UK and UofL. I began my counseling career in 2008 working with children and families in community mental health, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting resilience and growth.
In 2013, I began transitioning into private practice and expanded my work to include individual and couples therapy for adults. My current clinical focus is on stress management, trauma, anxiety, and depression, though I still lend extensive experience in family therapy and behavioral modification approaches, particularly for those struggling with symptoms of ADHD.
Behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, marriage/relationship issues, trauma, and ADHD are some of the treatment areas in which I have the most experience. I strongly believe that both laughter and movement are the best medicines, and I strive to provide a fluid and natural therapy experience in which people can truly “come as they are."
