My work is rooted in the body/mind connection, nourished by the imagination, and anchored in the support of our therapy relationship. Two guiding intentions support my approach to our therapy work: Develop tools, awareness, and self-compassion to transform stuckness, pain and suffering. And, discover your innate wisdom and capacity for well being, relationship, and pleasure. In these ways, it's possible to heal, grow, and thrive in relationship to ourselves, others, and the world.
I have special training in somatic/body-oriented therapy, pregnancy and infant loss, IFS/parts work, harm reduction and abstinence-based addiction work, abuse and trauma recovery, managing anxiety, and healing through grief and loss. I believe in the benefit of mindfulness, movement, and creative practices in therapy and life.
