My journey to being a therapist began working in residential mental health treatment. Then I began doing crisis work with youth and ARMHS work before moving into full-time therapy. My education has given me a well-rounded background that has been integral in my work as a therapist. Before obtaining my master’s degree in clinical counseling, my undergraduate education focused on criminal justice (victimology emphasis), psychology, and writing.
I have had the privilege of supporting individuals of all ages with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, stress, phase of life transitions, and many more challenges.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, where exploration of your unique experiences, strengths, and goals are at the forefront of our work. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches. You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard, understood, and accepted with me.
I hope to empower you with your inner resources to build resiliency and lead a fulfilling, balanced life. I know sometimes starting therapy can feel daunting, please feel free to call, email, or request an appointment online, whichever works best for you.
