About
As an art therapist, I believe in the importance of exploring home within yourself to lead you toward compassionate self-love. I'm committed to listening and meeting you where you are to support you on your journey. Whether you have had previous art experience or none at all, I believe that you have the potential to express and engage with your inner world through creativity. Working with children and adolescents in therapeutic day schools and a variety of community-based settings, I've learned that collaboration and storytelling through creativity, humor, imagination, and play helps bring new perspectives to troubling times.
Being a 2nd generation Filipina American, I believe that it's important to invest time in taking care of yourself as much as your loved ones. I empathize with the guilt and shame that comes with setting boundaries and prioritizing yourself. My hope is to help you realize, explore, and practice self-agency to thrive in your relationships and communities.
I strive to co-create with you a space in which you feel safe and brave to freely express yourself. Whether you need help grounding yourself or processing emotions and thoughts that are difficult to verbalize, we can engage in creative expression to shed light on new perspectives.
