I am currently taking new adult clients (17 and older) with a focus on relationships, sexuality, gender, trauma, aging, illness, infertility, adoption, work strain, and adjustment. I am trained to work with culturally diverse populations, alternative relationship structures (with a specialty in CNM/Polyamory), various sexual orientations, and gender-expansive clients. I can also see clients virtually who are Michigan residents. I recently graduated from Aquinas College with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have several openings starting July 1, 2025, and look forward to building relationships with new clients!
Using person-centered skills, I primarily utilize interventions from existential therapy, positive psychology, and strengths-based therapy. When working with relationships, I pull techniques from emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, meaning-making and Gottman. I help clients overcome obstacles and set their mental health and relationship goals.
Please reach out to see if I would be a good fit for your needs. I am quick to respond, and there is no obligation with a quick email or phone call. If I am not the right fit, I will help you find a local therapist who is!
