About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist working in the field for over 20 years primarily doing psychotherapy with older teens and adults of all ages. I view psychotherapy as a collaborative journey that the therapist and client go on together. One that requires curiosity, self-exploration, attunement, and mutual regard. Choosing a therapist that feels like a good fit is critical to a good outcome so I typically begin by speaking to prospective clients on the phone allowing you to share what you are looking for while allowing you to ask any initial questions you may have about me or the therapeutic process.
I provide individual, family and couples' psychotherapy and treat a variety of different presenting problems which may be affecting one's mood, health and ability to function in every day life. Therapy will focus in on defining what issues you are struggling with such as relationship and self-esteem issues as well as coping with daily life stressors.
I truly believe that everyone can benefit from being in psychotherapy and each person is highly unique. I work with you where you are at in a very real, compassionate manner facilitating your personal growth. I work holistically believing that you must take care of your mind, body and spirit. Working through issues can be challenging but very worthwhile.
