I work with ages 12+ who are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, CPTSD/PTSD, and grief. I believe what we resist persists, so challenges are best overcome when faced directly with courage and compassion. True healing and change can take time and effort, and I believe deeply in the power of therapy to create a dynamic for growth and change—helping individuals create the selves and lives they hope to live.
My approach is eclectic—though grounded psychodynamic (aka “Talk”) therapy, I blend several modalities into my work, including mindfulness, yoga, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory. I'm trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
