Life gets hard at times with increasing demands and a finite amount of resources. As creatures of habit, we tend to get stuck in what seems like a never-ending cycle. My clients come to me with a desire for REAL change. They may be managing long-standing mental health problems and/or new and chronic medical conditions. They also seek to improve their relationships and find out what makes their life worth living. In the end, my clients appreciate introspection and understanding the past, but believe that actual concrete change is needed.
I am a strengths-based, multicultural psychologist that specializes in cognitive, mindfulness-based, and mind-body somatic treatment. I believe that tailoring the right treatment interventions to your specific needs yields the best results. I have training in a wide array of treatment modalities and am happy to work with you to determine what fits.
It is normal to feel lost at times without a sense of where to go. Changes are possible, but it is up to you to put those changes in motion. If you are uncertain of how to proceed, I can shine a light and work with you to find a direction. In the end, I am most interested in being helpful rather than be correct.
