A bit about me – I’ve had a variety of experiences in different jobs. For a long time, I felt unhappy and struggled to care about what I was doing. Eventually, I decided to make a change and transitioned into mental health. This shift gave me a sense of purpose that I hadn’t found before.
Since then, I’ve worked in several areas, including in-home care, homeless outreach, harm reduction, and helping people in child welfare, community programs, and schools. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong connection with teens and young adults.
I work with individuals facing trauma, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, communication challenges, and ADHD. Using a person-centered approach, I focus on your needs and goals, applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy tools to help you understand yourself, change unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience.
I enjoy working with a wide range of people, including those who are LGBTQI+, polyamorous, other alternative lifestyles, as well as people from different cultural backgrounds. I believe that your concerns and goals should always come first because no one knows your needs better than you.
