I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have a passion for working with LGBTQ young adults who may have experienced trauma, have difficulty working out interpersonal situations, and have a sour taste in their mouth from religion. I am here to help bridge the gap from distress to healing.
I primarily utilize positive psychology with aspects of existential and solution focused therapies. Additionally, I offer two specialties: I am a somatic and attachment focused EMDR practitioner and a certified Hypno-Therapist. We decide together what counseling framework is best suited to your unique needs.
You can expect me to always be on your side, yet also direct and honest about what I'm seeing and hearing. Count on me to genuinely hold you accountable for how you take insights from our sessions and apply them to make changes in your life.
