I am an Army Veteran who served both as a Commissioned Officer and Enlisted Soldier. I employ a conversational style to help clients discover the answers to their depression, anxiety, grief and other emotional distress in their lives. I believe that each individual has tools within themselves to resolve whatever challenge they are facing and my role is to guide them to look internally to find those tools. I am passionate about helping active duty military and Veterans, the African-American community, the LGBTQIA community, Neurodivergent individuals, immigrants, and other minority groups.
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy to help people see that they are not alone in their suffering. Suffering/crisis, etc, is an opportunity to learn about your behaviors and to grow into a more loving and empathetic person.
