About
As your therapist, I explore what suits your goals, your identity, and your personality. My clinical approach is inclusive of your visible and invisible identities. My specialties and experiences include depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment, substance use, self-esteem, life transitions, relapse prevention, and relationship issues. I primarily utilize Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), the Gottman Method, and Motivational Interviewing.
My therapeutic approach is relational and collaborative. Together, we will find the flow that best suits you and your presenting issues. We will focus on solutions, distinguishing progression from perfection, and engaging in mindfulness. I will help you develop a solid foundation to address anxiety, trauma, attachment, relationship issues, and ways of coping
By engaging in a collaborative relationship with me, you will get the “homework” and progress you seek. We will incorporate therapeutic activities, worksheets, journaling, goal setting, reflection, and mindfulness mediation will work for you to reach your goals.
