Hello and Welcome to A New Leef! I’m Anna Lee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, attachment, personal growth, self-esteem, and women’s mental health. I approach therapy as a partnership where I seek to empower and guide active client participation. You are the expert of your own life! I maintain a person-centered focus throughout treatment while integrating a variety of evidence-based models including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
Honesty and transparency are the cornerstones of the therapeutic relationship I aim to build with my clients. I utilize over a decade of experience in various outpatient settings with individuals across the lifespan struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex-trauma, personality disorders and substance use to meet you where you are.
Collaborative, trauma-informed, and attachment-based is my stylistic approach in my practice. I deliver results with non-judgmental and compassionate support.
