My 30 years of practice provide me with a vast background to work with a wide variety of clients. The value of experience is the ability to meet the client where they are in order to develop a relationship. The goal is to help each client have a better life and to learn skills to manage thoughts, feelings and behavior. I have extensive experience treating ADHD, Depression, Bipolar and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. Understanding how each of these disorders impacts your life is critical as well as learning coping skills to manage the impact they have on your life.
My experience started with children and their parents and later to include adolescents. Solution focused therapy helps clients determine the focus and scope of therapy and set goals to resolves stress and or conflict.
Over the past fifteen years I have practiced, Insight Meditation and this has become an integral part of my practice. A simple form of meditation is offered to all clients as a tool to manage anxiety, depression or anger. I encourage most of my clients to meditate, exercise and journal.
