I am Dr. Lilia Smith, a clinical psychologist with more than twenty years of experience providing psychological services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I treat persons suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and medically related conditions. I assist couples who are experiencing relational conflicts, communication difficulties, sexual incompatibility, infidelity, divorce, and parenting issues. I work with individuals experiencing major life transitions. In the safety of a supportive and confidential setting, you can explore your concerns and find answers to the problems you are facing.
My treatment approach is collaborative and integrative, derived from various theories of mind including but not limited to relational psychoanalysis, developmental, attachment, and neuroscience models. The mind/body relationship is the foundation for my integrative approach to the treatment of emotional problems, psychological and psychiatric conditions.
