At A Human Sanctuary, we are dedicated to cultivating the tools and practices required for healing and growth after trauma. We blend the science of the nervous system, the creativity of the arts, and the wisdom of nature to guide people in reconnecting to their inherent wholeness and resiliency. We meet each person with true curiosity, openness, and authentic compassion. Our mission is to be a safe place for people seeking refuge, healing, and personal transformation. We specialize in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed about the future or struggling to adapt to the rapid changes unfolding in the world.
Our specializations include working with people with complex or developmental trauma, highly sensitive or neurodivergent folks, and those who have not found traditional talk therapy to be supportive. We also work with anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, stress management, eco-anxiety, and existential crisis.
Although we will explore and process areas of pain, sessions will be paced with concrete practices that immediately increase feelings of wellness, leaving clients not only with more capacity for daily life. This emphasis on creating more stability and empowerment for the client provides the foundation needed for deep and lasting change.
