Girls deal with different issues than boys in our society. This is a group for teen girls (or teens who identify as girls), which addresses those issues, and builds peer support and empowerment. The group uses some of the topics from the VOICES curriculum, by Stephanie Covington. Some topics include: Healthy relationships, trauma, abuse, social media, self-esteem, trafficking, healthy communication, emotion management, substance use, coping skills, positive vs negative choices, school issues, empathy, pregnancy, STDs, LGBTQ+ issues, and more.
