As a counselor, I truly believe in my client’s ability to grow, heal, and live their life to its most authentic and fullest potential. I believe that it is my job to support and sometimes challenge my clients to explore their lives, emotions, behaviors, and relationships and help them achieve their own personal wellness. I will strive to provide you with the most sincere and empathetic relationship you need to grow. I think that when a client feels seen and understood without judgement, healing is possible.
My 25 years of being a Psychology Professor has given me a solid foundation and unique insight into understanding human behavior. The treatment plan I use will be individualized and rooted in scientifically supported, evidence-based practices. I use CBT, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR and other psychotherapy approaches that best suit your needs.
The first step can be the hardest. I can help you begin your counseling journey and communicate with you every step of the way. I work with individual children, teens, and adults in-person and online. I strive to support my clients when they are in the midst of a big life change, have anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and other life challenges.
