Adverse experiences in early life, such as trauma, neglect, or abuse, can have long-lasting effects on emotional and social development. These experiences can impact an individual’s ability to form healthy relationships in adulthood. Many adults who have faced such challenges may struggle with trust, intimacy, or communication in their relationships. Unresolved feelings from past experiences can lead to patterns of behavior that hinder relationship-building, such as fear of abandonment, heightened anxiety in social situations, or difficulty expressing emotions.
I specialize in helping clients work through unresolved early childhood trauma. Together we set goals and explore strategies that move toward finding closure and resolution from adverse early experiences. My approach is attachment-based and trauma-informed, while allowing the client to guide the therapeutic process.
Trauma work is hard! My hope is that you will experience a warm and accepting environment where you feel comfortable enough to share your story as we walk together on the journey toward healing. I work with children, families, and couples. Reach out for a free consultation today!
