At a Butterfly and Beyond Counseling, Dr. Chatara Williams specializes in working with individuals, children and families using CBT, DBT, therapy through play activities, and client-centered techniques addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and DMDD among others. Dr. Williams is a also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist working with Autistic children and the neurodivergent population as well as providing therapy and support to their parents and families.
Dr. Williams’ number one technique is simply having a conversation with her clients and meeting with them human to human whether they are 5 years old or 55 years old. She respects her clients’ humanness and is often inspired by the strength, courage and change of her clients.
She loves providing therapy and hopes to continue working with children and adults while strengthening family units and changing the world; one amazing person at a time. Dr. Williams provides virtual therapeutic services to clients 5 to 60 years of age; while also providing family therapy if needed.
