My dedication to improving the lives of those around me led me to pursue a career in therapy. With a Master’s in Social Work from National University and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University, I have cultivated a strong academic foundation in therapeutic practices and social welfare. My professional experience spans over seven years, including five years in child welfare and two years as a MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) Coordinator. These roles have allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues that individuals face, from childhood through adulthood.
My specific areas of interest include child welfare, life coaching, peer relationships, coping skills, and addressing challenges related to alcohol use, addiction, and substance abuse. I am particularly passionate about working with children and families, helping them navigate difficult circumstances, and empowering them to build healthier lives.
I am committed to seeing the whole person—listening, observing, and noticing without judgment. It is my belief that true healing and growth come from embracing one’s contradictions and complexities. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can explore and understand their inner selves, fostering acceptance and self-compassion.
