High performers, leaders, helpers, and the “good” guy/girl look like they have it all together but often deal with anxiety and burnout, and long for more meaningful relationships. The burden of achieving results, the loneliness of leadership, and chronic stress of helping everyone can feel crushing, and even lead to chronic pain, migraines or autoimmune disease. Imposter syndrome, perfectionism and people pleasing take a huge toll on our relationships and how we feel about ourselves. In therapy, you’ll have a safe space to rest, recover from old wounds and the patterns that no longer serve you, and to leave feeling renewed!

I work well with individuals who are seeking to create new ways of relating to themselves, others, and the world at large. I have found success in treating clients who struggle with negative self-talk, anxiety, conflict in interpersonal relationships, traumatic childhoods, and difficult life transitions, including grief and loss. Therapy can be a painful and challenging process and I seek to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to show up as your authentic, unapologetic self. I believe healing happens when we extend compassion, empathy, love, and care to ourselves and others, and work to create new patterns in our lives.

I believe that each person can grow and heal given the right space. Sometimes, we can feel stuck, lose confidence in ourselves, or find ourselves looking outward and comparing our experiences to those of others.
In these moments, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to support clients in understanding their experiences and their impact on their lives. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to help clarify, so we can together understand the impact. I believe that together we can help you see your strength and confidence.

Maybe you have a box in your head that's labeled "Past Stuff." You put in all the things you don't like thinking about: hurts from your childhood, the memories of things you did that play on a loop in your head if you're not careful. Lately, things have been leaking out. You feel less in control of your life, and the memories that used to stay in the box are escaping. Or maybe you know the box is there and have a sense that you should sort through it, but you're not sure about doing it alone.

I specialize in early childhood trauma, dissociation, PTSD, and TBI. I use various assesments such as Continuous Performance Testing, QEEG (Brain Mapping), and clinical interviewing for assessment. I prefer to work with patients who have already tried therapy with several other therapists and have found therapy to be ineffective.

You might look like you have it all together—on paper, everything should be great. But internally, you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and exhausted from constantly doing, pleasing and pushing through. You may struggle to set boundaries, battle intrusive thoughts, wonder if you'll ever be good enough, or find it difficult to break unhealthy patterns in relationships. You are not broken—you are just in survival mode all of the time. If what once helped you cope is no longer serving you, it's time to try something different.
