The world is complex, no matter who you are or what your circumstances may be. Figuring out how to manage the realities of living in this world, in this moment, in this body, is something all of us must do. Whether you are a high school or college student experiencing anxiety or depression; a parent balancing personal, family, and work expectations; an adult going through a transition; or you are simply feeling tired and overwhelmed by the current political, social, and environmental challenges, I can provide helpful support as you move toward a future that reflects your values.
My approach is person-centered and experiential, and is tailored to the goals, culture, and concerns of the individual or family with whom I am working. I help create the conditions for you to discover your own answers, to redefine your relationships (especially the one with yourself), to develop new patterns and behaviors, and to let go of old ones.
Ultimately, you will be learning to create your own conditions so that you are better able to overcome barriers to the life experience you want. You may be learning to find some degree of peace with those circumstances in which the only control you have is your own response. Whatever your path, you will be walking it alongside a stable and supportive guide.
