We’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, gently unpack any emotional baggage from the past, and create a plan for moving forward with more clarity and confidence.

Welcome to Intentional Step Therapy. I am excited you are ready to take this step. As humans we all want to live a full rich life. We want to understand ourselves and to feel “worthy” “loved” or “enough”. We want to be authentic and live by our values even when we are not sure what that means. Anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, life experience, that stress that won’t go away are just barriers to living your best self. Together we can start a journey to reduce those barriers and begin a journey into your best self.

I have been practicing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2001. I have enjoyed my work with many individuals and couples. It has been very rewarding and fulfilling when see progress and growth in each of my clients throughout the counseling process. My approach in therapy emphasizes improving clients' emotional awareness. Once clients are aware and understand the triggers of their emotions, they are now "in control" of their emotions instead of emotions controlling them.

Ready to invest in yourself? I view counseling as in investment into yourself and your personal health. It is ok to not know what your goals are or the areas needing some work. Knowing that you are not where you want to be is a great place to start. Through working together, we can identify those areas needing growth and goals.
