My office is a safe and respectful space to explore recent stress or old wounds that are affecting your present life. Whether you have a nagging feeling that something in your life isn't quite right or a more pervasive signal, the process of therapy is a way to step into yourself more fully and live the life you envision. I have an integrative approach to practicing therapy. I am a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist. I incorporate body-centered mindfulness techniques, art therapy, EMDR and relational therapy into my work.
I specialize in experiential work using EMDR or art therapy to address past or current trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, anxiety, identity and multi-cultural concerns. I support clients by offering specific strategies in session and to use at home to re-pattern unhelpful behavior and habits.
My approach to therapy is warm, relational and respectful. I hold the perspective that you embody the resources you need to live a full and healthy life. I serve as a guide and support to illuminate or at times help you uncover your unique path toward growth and healing.
