My background encompasses working with many different issues including: self esteem, religious trauma, relationship issues, disordered eating & body shame. My style of therapy is collaborative, warm and authentic. Often those who have had a negative experience with therapy in the past have expressed having a new, positive experience in our work together.
My approach is grounded in principles of psychodynamic, relational, and attachment theory and I use this perspective to support folks with their “here and now” dilemmas and distress. I also utilize an approach called AEDP which helps facilitate new perspectives and experiences that can be transformative.
