As human beings, pain and challenges are an integral part of life, but that does not mean we have to suffer because of them. We can learn to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease, resilience, and peace.
My goal is to help people heal from their emotional wounds and bring greater peace and optimism into their lives. I want to meet people where they are, without judgment, understand what they are going through and what they need, and empower them by providing support and guidance while helping them develop the skills they need to manage distress effectively.
I provide individual and couples therapy for teens and adults.

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. I believe it takes strength and courage to decide to begin therapy. I believe there comes a time in most people's lives when it can be helpful to have a non-biased, supportive person to guide them through life changes or difficulties they may be experiencing. Therapy is a collaborative relationship between the client and the therapist. In order for therapy to be successful, a person has to be ready and want to make changes. It is also essential to feel understood and accepted by your therapist. If you feel that you might benefit from a caring, experienced therapist, please call.

My approach to therapy is compassionate and direct. I will be respectful, but I will also be honest. I routinely give homework assignments as part of therapy, with the belief that if you accomplish the task you will start to experience the change you seek. I will try to understand both the nature and context of your problem and the potential impact of change before I offer helpful solutions. I will ask you about where you are trying to go, and we will work together to develop a practical plan to help you get there.

Everyone is at a different stage of healing from this world, and it looks different for each person. My initial goal is to establish safety within the therapy space and explore how an individual might establish safety with themselves and in their body. I utilize several strengths based and trauma informed approaches, as no two people are the same!

Have you been labeled or judged by others or had to hide a part of your identity? Are you fearful of others' judgments? I identify as a gay man and I understand the struggle. I am now though. It can be frustrating and discouraging to be seen one dimensionally and not as the multifaceted human being you actually are. I want to create a safe space for you; a safe space means a place where you do not have to worry about being judged. Are you having issues in your relationship? Do you feel disconnected? I want to help you reconnect with yourself and with each other.
