You are human. And that means you are in the middle of living out a great story - your life. Most likely it has been many things - tragic, dramatic, romantic, comedic. Lately though, the story feels off. Unexpectedly, twists have been written into the plot. Despair, depression, anxiety, panic, confusion, and hopelessness have arrived. Who you know you are deep inside doesn't match what's happening outside. You might be feeling stuck and don't recognize your self. There is a desire to feel differently. You urgently want the story to change and are tired of the way things are. There is another story that can be written.

I am a depth psychotherapist - which means that I believe you are not your symptoms and you are not broken. They are; however, happening for a reason. And, unfortunately, sorting through them and understanding them has not been an opportunity you've had yet. "Band-aids", perhaps, have been offered, but deep, lasting, change has been elusive.

In fifteen-plus years of clinical experience, what I encounter over and over again is that when we take the time to understand our stories (whichever one is being lived at the moment) we understand ourselves in a deeper way. Our symptoms no longer clamber for our attention and healing begins to take hold. Internally aligned, we recognize ourselves again.
