My experience includes trauma (such as sexual abuse and other issues specific to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), victims of domestic abuse and/or violence, mood disorders, depression, alcohol and drug issues and those with dual diagnoses.
I work with all ages and especially enjoy working with children and adolescents. I've worked as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker for fourteen years. Along with doing effective office therapy since 2001, I've seen tremendous individual progress using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
EAP is an experiential therapy that can aid people in working through personal issues, feelings and behaviors in a concrete manner by interacting with horses in a variety of activities. I'm honored to work with Kim Jones, MFT, and my beautiful four legged partners, my horses.
