As a therapist, I look for the basic goodness of human beings and try to bring clients having locus of control in their lives and share perspectives leading clients to feel liberated so they find the meaning of life; fulfillment and happiness. This takes practice, as our minds naturally scan for the negative, but if we try, we can almost always find something good about you and others which will lead us to heal and peace and may bring harmony and joy to our life.

Many of the clients with whom I partner in the therapy process, present with concerns related to anxiety, ADHD, and/or the autism spectrum. Often, these clients are teens or young adults, although I also have experience working with elementary-school aged children, as well as older adults with similar presenting concerns. My clients often are looking for practical strategies to help manage their anxiety. Because of the synergistic way in which anxiety may interact with executive functioning challenges (e.g. ADHD) and with social relationships, it is often helpful to develop a holistic perspective of ‘what is going on’.

Secure video conferencing is available. As a licensed neuropsychologist, I possess expertise in understanding the relationship between behavior and skills. My practice is dedicated to assisting adults, parents, and their children—whether they are struggling or identified as twice-exceptional (2e) or worried about dementia. The greatest joy in my work lies in helping to uncover each individual's strengths, so that areas of weakness do not become the primary aspect of their identity. A correct diagnosis is essential for determining the most effective path forward. These evaluations can also be instrumental for IEP or 504 plans.

I believe people come to therapy carrying the weight of their brokenness—wounds from their past, family struggles, fractured relationships, grief, and loss. Pain has a way of making us feel isolated, as if the shattered pieces of our lives can never be put back together. But I also believe in the profound beauty of healing. When we face our pain with honesty and courage, we open ourselves to transformation—where even the deepest wounds can become a source of strength and hope.

People do not exist in a vacuum. The person you are today is shaped by a tapestry of relationships, culture, faith, community, education, and lived experiences. What brings you to therapy may feel urgent or overwhelming, but it does not solely define you and it may not be the true root of your pain.
