You're not looking for surface-level work. You feel deeply, think in layers, and want a therapist who can keep up. Maybe you're neurodivergent, highly sensitive, in a spiritual awakening, an underworld journey, or reckoning with patterns that run deeper than this lifetime. I'm Stephanie, a multidimensional depth psychotherapist, astrologer, initiated Dagara diviner, and ancestral healer. I sit at the intersection of many worlds: the clinical and the sacred, the psychological and the mystical, the ancestral and the present. I work with cycle breakers, empaths, mystics, spiritual practitioners, and people who have never quite fit.

My clinical orientation and approach are rooted in a health-based perspective, and our efforts together will focus more readily on moving towards health, fluidity, and integration rather than moving away from illness, stagnation, and fragmentation; these latter expressions often dissipate when the former are nurtured.

As a child I was always very sensitive and curious about the world that surrounded me. It came natural to help people and I knew that I wanted to give back to the world at large. Just like you I suffered from some childhood wounds. My parents did the best they could with the tools they had. But due to their struggles I became a very codependent child wanting to save and fix my parents to simply gain the love I desired. Later on I would be able to understand these cycles and break many of the patterns I lived out. Including people pleasing, losing myself in toxic relationships and not fully loving that little girl inside of me.

As a consultant, I create a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space to explore some of your most confounding therapeutic dilemmas. I can help you to integrate an understanding of the embodied experiences of both yourself and your client. Together we can help you discover an approach that feels authentic and respectful to those with whom you work. I emphasize guiding principles rooted in the lived moment over techniques or a particular methodology.

Feeling anxious, stuck, or like something’s just not right? You might be constantly second-guessing yourself, overwhelmed by people-pleasing, perfectionism, or repeating relationship patterns that leave you drained or unseen. Maybe you're navigating a big transition — a breakup, loss, or career change — and struggling to find solid ground. Many of my clients are high achievers who appear successful but feel anxious, disconnected, or unfulfilled inside. You want peace of mind, stronger boundaries, and the ability to trust your voice. Mostly, you want to stop spinning and start moving forward with purpose and self-trust.

I work actively with people to assess what is important and meaningful to them. I use inquiry and observation to help you know yourself better, as well as identifying and addressing obstacles that prevent you from fully engaging in life, in relationships and in creative work. This self understanding can enable you to build resiliance and expand your capacity to embrace the inevitable gifts, disappointments, and changes, that life brings your way. These changes may include feeling better about yourself, expanding your ability to develop closer intimate relationships, and create more satisfaction in your work life.

Marriage is supposed to feel like a partnership. But somewhere along the way, many couples find themselves living more like roommates — sharing a home but not a bed, going through the motions but not really connecting. Or they're dealing with something even harder: an affair that has shattered the trust they spent years building. I'm a couples therapist who specializes in exactly these situations — sexless marriages, emotional disconnection, and recovering from infidelity — and I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most extensively researched approaches for couples, to help partners find their way back to each other.

Early experiences result in our developing defensive structures that are meant to protect our vulnerability, but also create restrictions in our capacity to feel or perceive what is happening in the moment. This patterning shapes our perception of others, and also of ourselves. Although traditional insight-oriented talk therapy allows for an understanding which can harmonize our awareness with our everyday life, we embody early experience in ways that limit the power of insight to undo, and restrict our emotional intelligence. My orientation to psychotherapy is to work through emotional and experiential patterning, without bypassing the power of understanding.

The decision to start psychotherapy is significant as it often means that you are suffering in some way or you've realized that what you have been doing is no longer working, and you are seeking change in your life. As your therapist, I will help you find meaning in the connections of your story and the patterns of your relationships, as well as discover and challenge your conflicts, assumptions and limitations. Through this exploration, you will be able to know yourself more deeply and live with more freedom, possibility, joy and self-understanding. My approach is collaborative, warm, and authentic.

Therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach. I am an integrative psychotherapist with an extensive background in working with mood disorders, dual diagnoses, prosocial behavior management and stress reduction. My approach is based in psychodynamic underpinnings, integrating elements of several schools of therapy to address the emotional, behavioral, psychological, cognitive and spiritual dimensions of my clients. This allows me to design a therapeutic strategy for each client based on their specific areas of concern.

I hold a systemic, whole-person in-context view in my work. We start by creating a plan of care together based on your needs, goals, and lived experience. I approach my work from an attachment lens and often utilize somatic and nervous system-based interventions that can create true repair at the roots of issues. In our sessions we often slow down to notice the mind, body and energy levels, helping you understand sensations, emotions, cognitions and patterns that developed to inform and protect you. I strive to help you reconnect with your innate capacity to heal and grow, and I am transparent about the methods I use along the way.
