About
As a child therapist, I work with parents and their children regarding a child’s developmental challenges; ADHD and other learning differences; the child experiencing social difficulties at school; the loss of a parent; and, issues surrounding adoption and/kinship foster placements. I also have experience working for an eating recovery center as a primary therapist helping clients and their families recover from eating disorders. With adults, I work with individuals who are experiencing infertility; divorce; parenting a difficult child; and, parenting a grandchild, foster or adopted child.
I offer Play Therapy and Relational Therapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults in offices that allow for 6' Social Distancing and practice the APA recommendations for health and safety. Child Play Therapy and Adolescent and Adult Relational Therapy is also available using telehealth platforms.
I have a special interest in working with people who are faced with unexpected challenges. For more information visit: www.therapyfortheunexpected.com
