(Click on the "website" tab to watch my short 3-minute intro video!) My specialty is couples and individuals with relationship issues. Being in a relationship can be hard work and the stresses of career, children, in-laws, finances, chores, etc. don't make it any easier. Maybe you're feeling like you're having more conflict than love in your relationship and the communication is just not working. Or maybe you are fresh off of a breakup and wanting more clarity about what happened, or single wanting to work through some issues so you can be your best self for a future partner.

Sometimes life feels overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying the weight of past experiences, family struggles, or ongoing stress that never seems to let up. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating, whether it’s trauma, mood shifts, eating concerns, or the challenges of parenting teens. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can begin to unpack what you’re carrying and find new ways forward.

If you’re silently struggling with porn addiction, you already know the emotional toll: shame, secrecy, and the frustration of breaking promises to yourself. Whether it’s Pornhub, OnlyFans, cam sites, or endless scrolling, your partner may feel hurt and disconnected. You’re likely overwhelmed by guilt and stuck in patterns you swore you’d quit. Even if you’re not in a relationship, porn may still be affecting your confidence, focus, or ability to connect. It doesn’t have to stay this way. I help men who feel stuck in this cycle break free from compulsive porn use and rebuild intimacy without shame or judgment.

Anxiety and depression can make life very difficult. These symptoms only worsen if you hide them out of fear that others won’t understand or will be judgmental. It is important to know that there are specific treatment approaches that have been shown to be particularly effective. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure with Response Prevention, and other Cognitive Behavioral approaches to help see thoughts and beliefs differently, and to act more in line with how we want to be. My approach also emphasizes a more accepting, compassionate relationship with one’s self to help therapy be most effective.

You didn't realize just how overwhelmed, broken, and alone you'd feel. Suffering through infertility is beyond devastating. Infertility brings stress, anxiety, and depression right up to the surface and impacts everything, especially our most meaningful relationships. Even 'happy' things end up in a complex mash-up of emotions. Despite your best efforts, the emotional roller coaster and quiet despair haven't gone away. You try so so hard. And yet, you are lost, filled with worry and guilt. You fear losing connection with the person you once were before the chaos of infertility.

I work primarily with people who are dealing with anxiety or depression and my primary model of treatment is Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe that our difficulties are more often as result of how we are thinking about our problems rather than the problems themselves. CBT provides skills and tools for coping with your thoughts as well as the difficult emotions that come along with your thinking. CBT can also be helpful for procrastination or for being withdrawn. My professional work can be characterized as being active, empathetic, compassionate, energizing and motivational.

My ideal clients are Mandarin-speaking and Asian young adults navigating life transitions, cultural expectations, identity, work stress, or parenting challenges. Many feel torn between roles, family, and their own needs, and want to build confidence, emotional balance, healthier boundaries, and a life that feels authentic and aligned with who they are. They are open to self-reflection and growth, curious about their inner world, and ready to invest in themselves, even if the process feels uncomfortable at times—because they believe change is possible and worth it.

Are you holding it together on the outside but on the inside it feels VERY different? Do you feel gripped by anxiety, self-doubt, anger, fear, or numbness? Having thoughts that you are not enough, or too much, or that you should be perfect? There is a reason this is happening. I believe change happens through compassionate accompaniment in intentionally held spaces that allow us to explore and integrate parts of ourselves that are causing inner tensions. Through an accepting and supportive environment therapy helps to regulate emotion and promote lasting change.
