Hello! I am a LCSW passionate about working with individuals and families struggling with severe mood and anxiety. As you can see from my picture I have a compassionate yet light-hearted spirit that connects well with kids of all ages. For 11 years, I worked in the Pediatric Bipolar Disorders Program at Stanford creating and modifying therapeutic treatment modalities for children and families. For this reason, I am best suited for clients with mood or anxiety disorders, behavioral difficulties, & suicidal tendencies. I see the most success when I am permitted to work with the client and the family simultaneously.
I specialize in creating an in-home treatment program that incorporates the following models: family focused therapy, mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure based therapy, yoga & movement therapy, & dialectical behavior therapy. I am especially experienced in working with severe mood and anxiety in teens.
I have co-authored many articles about pediatric bipolar disorder, this provides a vast amount of knowledge and experience from which I work. I believe each client will bring an uniqueness that relies on my ability to fine tune therapeutic models so the client's needs always come first.

It is a 14 week Mindfulness based CBT group, which includes topics such as medication, academic challenges, behavioral challenges, and understanding the difference between moods and "just being a kid".
