I have been in private practice for over 35 years. I offer an in-depth, insightful, potent and integrative approach which blends Relational, Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytic, Jungian and Mindfulness orientations.
The aim of my approach is to help heal wounds from the past, navigate through relational impasses, cultivate growth and change, promote creativity and productivity and face psychological barriers, conflicts and entrenched fears. This healing work helps foster emotional resilience and deepens one's connection to self and others.
I have provided clinical supervision at SFSU, CIIS, Marina Counseling and in private practice. I have also provided psychotherapy at UCSF and CCSF. I have presented locally and internationally on psychotherapeutic issues.

Groups
Case consultation and study group for clinicans
I have been leading a weekly clinical case consultation and study group for the past 10 years. Group members' clinical cases are presented and discussed with an emphasis on transference, counter-transference, unconscious communication, primitive mental and emotional states, dreams and fantasies, the effects of trauma, therapeutic impasses, and deepening the therapeutic relationship. I suggest relevant articles as they pertain to case material.

Psychoanalytic Infant Observation Seminar
Tavistock Psychoanalytic Infant Observation is an experiential study and training for psychotherapists of early development, parent-infant relationships, pre-verbal states and infant communications. The seminar group meets weekly.
