Taking the time to find the right therapist for yourself or your family is a brave, intelligent way to approach change. I work with adults, children, and families to develop healthy ways of being with others and healthy ways of being alone. I work with parents and children around a number of concerns including anxiety, depression, and disability. I offer a free 20 minute initial phone consultation. You are welcome to call me and we can think together about whether I might be a good fit for the situation you are addressing.
My office is a safe space for people from diverse backgrounds. I have experience and training in working with LGBT families and individuals, people dealing with stress related to immigration, people with motor, sensory, and cognitive disabilities, and families formed through adoption. I speak Spanish and English.
While I work with clients of all ages, I have specialized training working with children under 5 and their caregivers. I often use Infant-Parent Psychotherapy when working with children 0-3 years old. This approach can help children develop resilience and supports healthy relationships within families.
