Life is full of transitions, whether in childhood or adulthood. They are part of life and can be positive or negative. Life will always throw something your way. I'd like to help you through these transitional periods and make the journey smooth and comfortable. Seeking treatment can be a difficult choice, but in the end is a rewarding part of life. I'm looking to support parents of young children, children/teens transitioning to new stages of life, adolescents transitioning to college, new mothers adjusting to being a parent, and women who are struggling with job/school/relationship/motherhood stressors.
I have a history of working in non profit agencies with children, adolescents, and families. I primarily see clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. My clients range from young children to teens/young adults. I also work with women who are pregnant, struggling with postpartum symptoms/being a new mom, or other life stressors.
I provide a safe and comfortable environment for my clients, and am flexible in my treatment techniques. I encourage my clients to develop realistic goals that are attainable and promote success. I build rapport by using play, art, humor, and warm interactions. Life can be stressful and reaching out for therapy can be a first step to taking care of you!
