I am a licensed MFT with offices in Santa Monica and Ojai. For the past twenty + years I have been working as a therapist with adolescents, adults and families. I am also a clinical supervisor to interns in my private practice, and I provide psychotherapy for therapists in training. My work as a therapist focuses on relationships of all kinds. For my clients, I hope to be an agent of positive change by working with them towards an understanding of the dynamics that keep them from moving forward and then by mentoring them to co-create bigger lives for themselves.

You are unique, sometimes quirky with an inner world that requires management. Your pain is about being able to express what matters most, both to yourself and others. You usually manage well, but life events have become over-whelming. Currently you are feeling, lost, uncertain and the past has risen up in memory, or action to haunt the day to day. The desire to make meaning of the present and cope more efficiently, while finding joy in the current circumstance motivates you. Perhaps it is death, relationship, work or health problem that brings you to seek therapy at this time.

I get what it's like to live with- Chronic Pain & Illness, terrible Anxiety, and being Highly Sensitive that you feel everything! I help people with these issues along with complex trauma. Connecting the dots to understand how your childhood (upbringing, trauma, stressful events, family) may be contributing to your distress today can be extremely eye opening and transformative. In session I use many deeper brain therapies to support change. Healing and becoming a secure capable human is the goal and completely attainable. I view therapy as a collaboration, and as a Mind-Body Therapist I am an active participant and guide.

I am passionate about working with queer/LGBTQIA+ people, those in ENM or polyamorous relationships, and couples. As a relational therapist, I believe healing happens through connection. The experiences we carry from our past shape our present, often in ways we don’t intend. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their past, present, and future, make sense of relationship patterns, and gain deeper self-understanding. My approach is warm, direct, and engaged—I actively participate in the therapy process, helping clients recognize the dynamics that may be keeping them stuck.

Life can be hard, the world is a confusing place. Navigating the way through everyday situations can be challenging. Having someone come along side you to listen or to be a guide and suggest alternatives to behaviors that are troubling and holding you back from the life you want to live can make a difference. I have been working with people for over 20 years, helping them in their unique journeys. My emphasis is growth and change and I believe that acknowledging trauma through the individuals experience can aid in their own understanding and help to define their place in the world wherein healing can take place.

Welcome! As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I’m passionate about supporting individuals in reconnecting with their most essential sense of self, cultivating a life that feels aligned with their values, grounded in presence, and connected to a deeper sense of belonging and peace. I hold a special resonance for working with those who have experienced early trauma, neglect, or attachment wounds, experiences that can leave lasting imprints in the form of low self-worth, limiting beliefs, nervous system dysregulation, and relational difficulties.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate relational challenges with greater depth, clarity, and connection. My work is grounded in the intersection of depth psychology and attachment theory—two perspectives that reveal both the unconscious patterns shaping our relationships and our fundamental need for secure connection. Trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), I integrate neurobiology, attachment science, and developmental psychology to support couples in cultivating intimacy, resilience, and mutual understanding.

My approach is rooted in gentle curiosity and respect for the simultaneous presence of pattern and individual difference at play in your life and sensibility. I work from a psychodynamic orientation, attuned to unconscious processes and repetitions, to that which isn’t yet or cannot be known, and deeply curious about your ways of making meaning. This commitment to you as a vast and multifaceted being welcomes the unpredictable, ineffable, conflictual, and symptomatic. Our work presses for emergent understandings of your life and deepened connection in the present so that more creative generative, futures might unfold.

Are you looking for an embodied, creative, collaborative, and deeply transformative approach to navigating your life's challenges? My clients are soulful individuals and couples who are serious about healing the root causes of pain and conflict. This journey means connecting with the deep wisdom of your psyche and becoming more courageous, vulnerable, empathic, and accountable in all areas of your life. Whether you’re a person struggling to meet your full potential, a parent hoping to see your child thrive, or a family working to repair broken relationships, good therapy can result in growth and lasting change. It takes courage to be willing to honestly look at ourselves. It takes a safe, open and non-judgmental space, as well as an experienced therapist to make that work possible. As a licensed professional counselor this is the work I do. My approach is open and straightforward. I use scientifically-based methods, years of experience and customized techniques, to match your specific needs.

I believe: our mind & body are completely intertwined; the possibilities within every human being are limitless; and you are not your symptoms. I do not believe in limits set by a diagnosis or label for you to identify yourself by, instead I help you find your true nature, your Self, & peace within the midst of difficulty, change, loss, and the holidays! I've been a psychologist for over 30 years, yet the way I help people today is entirely different now. I use mindfulness brain-based talk therapy, and visualizations, for an integrated approach to emotional/physical/mental wellness. We focus on your current self and life as a whole.

For over 20 years I have been using a new type of psychotherapy called lifespan Integration. High levels of efficacy are achieved. It can pull people out of depression & anxiety in only several sessions. It not only works quickly but very deeply. The ultimate goal of the therapy is the integration of the damaged 'selves' to allow the emergence of a more coherent experience. By working with these 'states' of self, isolated in memory, we are able to find, access and heal each representative self that was hurt. We can even work with memories of infancy where the earliest programming occurs ie. wounds from a narcissistic parent.
