I help individuals and couples improve the quality of their lives. I have been in private practice for over 30 years developing my craft. Sadly many people live far below their potential to experience love and happiness. The understanding that conditioning and unconscious training determine your perceptions and emotional reactions is the first step in the creation of new skills and emotional balance.
My approach is a unique combination of cognitive restructuring and emotional integration leading to an improved awareness of possibilities both individually and in relationship. The ability to love and be loved is fundamental to a good life.
Issues that impact personal self confidence and induce stress are the product of unconscious defense mechanisms. Early life experience is often forgotten or repressed and is usually the cause of negative life patterns. People that generate negative outcomes at work and in relationships have unfinished business that needs awareness and effective resolution.
My clients are provided an environment of emotional caring and safety that allows for the resolution of cognitive defenses and emotional reactions. As therapy evolves, a new appreciation of self begins to emerge as stressful reactions and upsets soon dissipate. Clients feel empowered to engage the world anew.
