No matter how ready you are to start your therapy journey, it can be overwhelming, and even a little scary sometimes. My goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive space to begin healing, bounce back from life’s challenges, learn new ways to cope, gain new perspectives, and better understand your relationships. As a therapist with over 10 years of experience, one of my greatest joys is to support and witness the changes and accomplishments my clients make. If you desire and are open to growing, I can help teach you new ways to think, feel, and engage with the world that feels more authentic, genuine, and fulfilling

Relationships—with others or yourself—can be complicated. It can be hard to sift through triggers, shame, low self-esteem and painful memories. Our past can be very present in our daily lives and it makes it even more confusing. As a therapist, I focus with my clients on increasing their self-awareness, understanding their triggers, healing past trauma and fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others. My niche is working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma or currently experiencing relationship distress or conflict and women's issues.

Whether you visit face-to-face in the office or in an online consultation with me: there is hope for you/your loved one! Are you facing personal or relationship distress, feeling frozen or blindsided by, e.g., the complexity of a medical condition, the discovery of addiction(s) or betrayal trauma? I work with adults and couples who want to eliminate problem behaviors, feel less alone, and create sustainable patterns of connection, safety, and vitality at home and at work. Together we explore which tools work for you to create a calmer nervous system and mind, even if pinpointing what makes you uncomfortable feels hard.

I don't have an ideal client. I want to met people where they are at. If you've never had therapy before, it’s important to be aware we don’t start talking about the hard stuff. It can take 2-3 sessions for someone to feel comfortable enough to tell another person what they are struggling with. Therapists cannot read minds, but have studied human patterns of thoughts, feelings & actions. No one can truly know the exact consequences a person has experienced in their life. Regardless of the reason why someone is seeking therapy, there is no judgment, no criticism…just acceptance. People can heal & grow in this type of environment.

To be safe, seen, accepted, and heard are essential needs to human flourishing. The sacred space of therapy can provide a place for individuals and families to explore the possibilities of a beautiful life where we can learn healthy ways to cope, advocate for ourselves, use our strengths for healing, mourn some of our life experiences, gain insight into themes of our relationships and experiences, and learn to integrate the mixture of grief, ache, and joy that life throws our way. I desire to offer an empathetic heart, a supporting clinical lens, and offer a non-judgmental space where you can share your story.

You might look “put together” and “successful,” yet feel overwhelmed and stressed. If you’re a young woman, mom, or college student who feels like you always have to be “on,” carrying so much responsibility can be exhausting. I support women in gaining insight into their past and how it shapes their present. I offer a space to process past experiences and ask thoughtful questions to encourage reflection. If you’re ready to get to the root of what you’re experiencing, let’s connect.

I believe therapy is beneficial for anyone as therapy can provide a safe and supportive space for someone to express their thoughts and feelings. Therapy can also provide individuals with a deeper understanding of their own thoughts and behaviors, helping them to identify potential negative patterns and work towards positive changes. This self-awareness can be a powerful tool in promoting personal growth and development. Therapy is not just for those experiencing significant mental health challenges but can also be beneficial for anyone looking to improve their overall well-being and quality of life.

I am most passionate about giving people the space to be listened to and understood. There are layers of emotions that one experiences in their day to day and being given the space to process them and understand them is a powerful thing. Emotional self-awareness is the foundation for great change because once someone becomes aware, they can make an active decision to be responsible in navigating their emotions in the healthiest ways possible!

I provide a supportive, collaborative space for individuals seeking meaningful and lasting change. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take that first step. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, and I strongly believe that each person has the capacity for growth when given the right environment and tools. I take an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and person-centered principles.

Welcome! I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My role is to support you in exploring what brings you hope, relief and meaning; to uncover patterns that may be holding you back and gently approach the fears that are too heavy to carry alone. I offer a compassionate, patient, and curious presence in the room, to help adults navigate life distress, teens exploring who they are becoming, youth reclaim joy as you grow up. My approach is rooted in making sense of your experiences, pivot to resilience, move toward a life that feels more fulfilling, and authentically yours, help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel lost.

I believe that many of our mental health needs stem from our reactions to stressful experiences. The ways our brains and bodies learn to overcome challenges can protect us, but are not always the most effective or safe responses to stress. As a therapist, I help people find more adaptive ways to respond to stress by promoting healing and strengthened self-compassion.

On the outside, you seem to have it all together—high-achieving, reliable, always there for others. But inside? You’re exhausted, anxious, and overwhelmed. The pressure to be perfect and keep everyone happy is silently weighing you down. I specialize in helping individuals who look successful on the surface but struggle internally with self-doubt, overthinking, burnout, and the fear of not being “enough.” You might be constantly pushing yourself to meet impossible standards, saying yes when you want to say no, and feeling like your worth depends on your productivity or others’ approval.

Therapy is an opportunity for personal growth though it can be intimidating to share your life with a stranger. With the right person it should be a welcoming, safe, supportive space to tell your story. An open discussion about your values, needs, wants where you aren’t put down or shamed. The therapist works to get to know and understand you and tailors their interventions to your needs and capacity.
