When I was in high school I began to struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Even with a great support system, trying to “take a deep breathe” when panicking was just not cutting it. I needed to go deeper than that. It wasn’t until I found a counselor that allowed me to feel comfortable sharing my insecurities and fears, that I learned to take control of my worries. I instantly felt more at ease when I knew I was going to see my counselor. That is when I realized: I want to be that sense of warmth and guidance for others.

I believe that people have the capacity for amazing feats of growth and change and my role is to partner with you on this journey. When I'm not practicing therapy, I'm partnering and parenting. For fun, I make my friendships a priority and I love to engage my creative side by designing random things on Canva!

Navigating the complexity of today’s stress levels can be difficult. If you add to that, the problems with addiction, relationships, trauma, and low self-esteem, then life, in general, can be overwhelming. Selecting the right Therapist is an important step in building your support team for recovery. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to develop and provide integrated (addiction/mental health) services to individuals, families, and corporations for more than 30 years.

Most people don’t need to be “fixed.” They just need a place where they can finally feel understood. I work with adults who feel stuck—whether that shows up as anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or just the sense that something isn’t quite right. My approach is straightforward and real. I’m not the kind of therapist who just sits quietly and nods. I’m engaged, I listen closely, and I help you make sense of what’s going on underneath the surface. I’ve spent over a decade helping people work through anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and I tailor the process to each person rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.

I believe the goal of therapy is for the client to feel seen and understood, and that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. By developing a caring, empathic, and trusting relationship with my clients, it becomes possible for the individual to make connections, deepen his/her awareness and gain clarity about relationships, problems and personal patterns. It is through this process that growth and change can be made.

We all experience life's challenges, feel alone, stuck and unsure what to do sometimes. Therapy can be deeply healing, when we can open up and take the first step towards mental well-being and self-love. If this is you, you're in the right place.
