When I was in high school I began to struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Even with a great support system, trying to “take a deep breathe” when panicking was just not cutting it. I needed to go deeper than that. It wasn’t until I found a counselor that allowed me to feel comfortable sharing my insecurities and fears, that I learned to take control of my worries. I instantly felt more at ease when I knew I was going to see my counselor. That is when I realized: I want to be that sense of warmth and guidance for others.

I often talk about how empaths and narcissists have a magnetic attraction to one another which is true, but an empath who stays in such an environment is usually an unhealed empath. An empath who over gives without boundaries. An empath who holds onto false hope that the other person will change. Become a self care warrior, and empowered. You Do You! Am empath will carry unhealed wounds, that they're responsible for another persons behavior and moods.
