You may feel like your mind never stops—constantly scanning, analyzing, checking, or trying to create certainty and control. Maybe you're stuck in patterns that once helped you feel safe but now leave you feeling exhausted—obsessions, compulsions, perfectionism, emotional avoidance, rigid routines, or strict rules around food, body image, and daily life. You might be insightful and self-aware, yet still find yourself caught in the same cycles of anxiety, shame, self-criticism, or overwhelm, unsure how to create sustainable, lasting change.

I specialize in working with women across the lifespan experiencing anxiety, major life transitions, neurodivergence, interpersonal challenges, and perfectionism. My clients often describe feeling caught up in their own thoughts, overanalyzing and second guessing themselves, or repeating patterns that keep them from fully engaging in their lives. Beneath this, there is often a desire to feel more in control of their thoughts, their actions, and the way they navigate life’s stressors

I believe that we all have the capacity to heal. I take a trauma-informed, body-based, and spiritually grounded approach to working with clients. I have experience working with clients (primarily women) from a variety of backgrounds, including those experiencing anxiety and co-occurring health issues impacting mental health. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness, expressive arts, and other holistic modalities into my sessions and will provide resources for you to utilize in everyday life. As Carl Jung states, "I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become".

We do not have to live at war with our bodies. If it’s constant overwhelm, your relationship with food or exercise, or years of chronic stress or illness- it is possible to find peace. We often do not have the space required to slow down to feel our emotions. When we are unable to connect with ourselves, symptoms like anxiety and depression increase. We need help connecting to our bodies, and regulating our nervous systems to slow down enough to move out of fight or flight and into the present moment. Doing so will make it possible to heal from our challenges like anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and chronic illness.

In facing many of my own challenges as a young adult, I struggled and made many poor decisions. I found psychology and social work fascinating for understanding human nature and building on my own personal strengths. Working in behavioral health over the past 20+ years with many different populations, I have found that recovery is for everyone. Every person defines that differently and inherently has the power within. My job is to assist you in finding that meaning for you. Lived experience has value and teaches us all that we are capable and empowers us to move forward.

Are you tired of bad "dates" with therapists, finding yourself explaining basic parts of your identity and feeling like therapy's going nowhere because of it? Maybe you're kinky, disabled, BIPOC, neurodivergent, queer, non-monogamous, all of the above, or don't subscribe to labels. My approach is collaborative and direct—focusing on unmasking, setting boundaries, and reclaiming your narrative from oppressive systems. Whether you are seeking space to process racial trauma, explore your gender journey, or navigate the pressures of school or your career, we will work toward carving a path that honors your identity in every facet.

Sometimes therapy means learning new skills, and sometimes it means hearing someone else you’ve entrusted, reflect what you might in some way already know but haven’t been able to see. Sometimes therapy means looking at the roots of our problems to contextualize them, and sometimes breaking habits relies primarily on creating new habits that meet the right need, when the habits we’ve been living with are no longer working for us. Sometimes therapy is an honest appraisal about the risk of our actions and exploring ways to move towards health.

Updated:10/2/25 I believe that people want a life full of joy, challenge and deep connection with their loved ones and larger community. Unfortunately, many of us desire those qualities of life-but have trouble accessing them in the moment. I am here to encourage you to explore your joy, challenge areas where you struggle to connect and create a path to a life that is full of resonance and enthusiasm. If your goal is to address issues related to society and culture or have someone who deeply understands alternative lifestyles, those are my favorite types of clients. You can rely on my approach to be practical, candid and relatable.

You deal with things most people couldn't begin to imagine. Whether you're in law enforcement, a first responder, correctional officer, or veteran, your daily reality comes with unique demands that "everyday" advice doesn't cover. In your world, asking for help is often unfairly labeled as weakness. Because of that, you carry the heavy weight of secondary trauma, anxiety, depression, or substance use alone. Hiding the impact of what you’ve exposed yourself to doesn't make it disappear. It just takes a heavier toll on your life and relationships. You deserve a confidential, zero-judgment space to process it all.
