It's an honor to facilitate exploration of consciousness. To make space and room to really sink into what the mind and body is communicating. And to provide a way to explore that however you choose. I personally offer trauma processing and self-exploration with somatic-based psychotherapy and The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). In fact, I believe trauma and overwhelm can drive a lot of suffering regardless of the diagnosis. So I aim to target the pain driving the behaviors you want to change; let's heal the wound, not redirect the symptom. Sessions are 60 minutes to offer more spaciousness.
I also believe we as humans heal through relationships: relationships with ourselves and others. I provide an attachment-based lens to help inform the source of the pain and layers of defense responses arising in our relationships. We explore defense structures both gently and directly, so there is space to access depth without feeling pressured.
I welcome all questions about the therapeutic process and am happy to provide education about the science of what we're doing (as well as letting know you know what I don't know). A deeper understanding of the process can make it so much easier to integrate session material into the rest of your life. Let's bravely explore consciousness together!
