I'm guessing that if you're reading this then you're going through something that's making life difficult and I'm sorry about that. Maybe you're not where you thought you should be, or maybe getting through the day is your only goal. Whatever it is, know that therapy can help. It can provide solid ground to help navigate whatever life has decided to throw your way. Therapy can also provide a place for you to be yourself. It can dial down the noise so you can begin figuring things out and gain control. I think sometimes that's all we need to help us resolve what we're going through.
As a licensed therapist and registered art therapist, I believe therapy is a partnership that has to be a good fit for YOU. If it's not, then what's the point? My goal is to work with you to get you where you want to be. And, yes, I use art but that doesn't mean you have to. Promise. For me, art is just another way of exploring your experiences.
I believe that everyone has the ability to not need therapy - seriously. However, sometimes we have to go to therapy to rediscover and build upon our own unique strengths to use those tools again.
