I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to working in mental health , I worked with children with special needs and developed skills to help families, parents and caregivers support their children to create a balanced environment.
I am highly motivated to work with children and teens facing challenges and stressors impacting their functioning. I am trained and certified in evidenced based practices including trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), managing and adaptive practice (MAP), parent child interaction therapy(PCIT), and crisis oriented recovery (CORS).
My passion is to help children and adolescents navigate the uncertain aspects of life in order for them to become healthy and resilient adults. I work along with parents and caregivers to provide them with tools and strategies to better support their children or adolescents . I am bilingual, and have extensive experience providing therapy in spanish.
